Even though it is all a matter of opinion, there have been some standouts in 2011 and not in a good way, While some may have a difference of opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you can’t argue that some of these looks just didn’t work. We are not that far into 2011 but that doesn’t mean some celebrities haven’t given us something to talk abot already.
- Michele Williams at the Golden Globes. Her daisy print dress did nothing for her shape or her color. Not only did the color wash her out, the daisies didn’t really seem to make any sense.
- Kate Hudson at the Grammy’s. The shiny blue Roberto Cavalli did not fit her body well, and the gold straps that held it on made you question their strength. Her baby bump looked beautiful though and her baby’s daddy Matt Bellamy acknowledged her from the stage.
- Marisa Tomei at the Oscars. There has been much debate about Tomei’s Oscar choice this year. Most have put it in a category of something that could be found at the mall.
- Jennifer Hudson at the Oscars. Although the color was beautiful, the Versace dress she wore seemed to flatten things that should not be flat. She was a near miss for the best dressed list since this could have been beautiful if it fit her correctly.
- January Jones at the Golden Globes. The red Versace gown she wore seemed to be missing parts to the top. This was another controversial gown with some loving it while others thought it was a risk that just should not have been taken.
